8-Week Online

6-Month Self-Paced via Web Program

Upper Iowa University has been offering self-paced programs for almost 50 years.

Our 6-month self-paced via Web format offers a unique opportunity to individuals who need more flexibility and time to complete their course work. Our 6-month self-paced degree program format is a great fit for those who wish to continue with their college education while working a demanding schedule.

We have a very liberal transfer policy for those who have taken college credits from an accredited college or have ACE (American College on Education) recommended college credit from their military Joint Service Transcript (JST). Upper Iowa University also accepts police academy training credits and offers a credit through our experiential learning portfolio option.

Advantages of the Self-Paced via Web program:

  • Allows you to learn in new ways
  • Makes learning available to those who cannot attend a traditional class
  • Flexibility to work at your own pace on coursework

Web-based Program:

  • Computer and internet access are required
  • Assignments and exams are completed through our web-based classroom
  • One to one environment allowing you to work at your own pace

Upper Iowa University’s 6-month self-paced via Mail format offers a unique opportunity to individuals need more flexibility in course work and do not have internet or computer access. Our program allows students anywhere world-wide to achieve a degree regardless of their work schedules.

We have a very liberal transfer policy for those who have taken college credits from an accredited college or have ACE (American College on Education) recommended college credit from their military Joint Service Transcript (JST). Upper Iowa University also accepts police academy training credits and offers a credit through our experiential learning portfolio option.

Paper-based Differences:

  • Does not require a computer
  • Assignments submitted to instructor by mail or email
  • Exams are conducted through use of a proctor
